Google Play feature graphic and screenshot sizes
Play Console graphic sizes for phone screenshots and the feature graphic, and how to export clean store assets.
Google Play asks for phone screenshots (and often a feature graphic) before you can publish. Getting dimensions right the first time avoids Console errors and last-minute redesigns.
Phone screenshots
Play expects vertical or horizontal phone screenshots within the size ranges listed in Play Console for your release track. In practice:
- Design on a modern phone canvas (Screenshot Studio’s Play phone target).
- Export lossless PNG when you can.
- Keep captions short and high-contrast so they stay readable on the store listing.
Feature graphic
The Play feature graphic is a wide promotional banner (commonly 1024×500). It is separate from in-app screenshot frames—treat it as a marketing banner, not a phone mockup.
Workflow
- Create a portrait or landscape project for Play phone screenshots.
- Use a template that already has headline and device placement.
- Export a clean PNG or ZIP on Pro.
